2nd suspect arrested in Plant City homicide

Plant City police have made a second arrest in connection to a murder outside a gas station.

Al'kwaun Ty'relle Nakiss Dixon, 19, is charged with first degree murder.

He was wanted for the murder of Michael Beson.

Beson was shot and killed trying to protect his wife when they were robbed at gun point while they stopped to fill up at a gas station.

Another suspect, 19-year-old Xavier Smith, was arrested last week. He has been denied bond.

Dixon had been on the run until his arrest on Sunday.

Dixon has been charged with First Degree Murder, three counts of Armed Robbery, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Discharging a Firearm in Public and Resisting Arrest without Violence.

He was transported to Orient Road Jail.
