$30K worth of merchandise stolen from West Marine
WINTER HAVEN (FOX 13) - Winter Haven police detectives are investigating a burglary at the West Marine on 3rd Street SW. More than $30,000 worth of merchandise was stolen.
Police said the manager opened the store Sunday morning and found damage inside of the business and thousands of dollars worth of merchandise gone. Police said it appears wires to the store's alarm system were cut and disabled.
Items taken include multiple GPS units, fish finders, men and women's clothing, sunglasses, rods and reels.
