60 couples tie the knot for annual Valentine's Day wedding
More than 60 couples tied the knot at the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo on Valentine’s Day.
It’s the Pinellas Clerk of Courts 10th annual Valentine’s Day group wedding.
The clerk waived the usual $30 ceremony fee and all at once, the couples said “I do.”
One couple says they got married at last year’s event in the first year same-sex couples could participate.
“We made history last year and we loved it,” said Annette Jimenez. “So we decided we would come to the Botanical Gardens every year and we will renew our vows every year until one of us departs this Earth.”
After the ceremony, everyone who attended enjoyed live music and celebrate with wedding cake.
For the first time, newlyweds were able to get their professional photos taken in the private topiary garden.
