Adoption fees waived for long-term dogs at Hillsborough County shelter

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Adoption fees have been waived for all dogs who have been at the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center for more than 30 days.

The shelter said they are dropping the fees during the month of October in hopes of finding a forever home for the dogs that have been living at the shelter for an extended period of time. The long-term dogs will have already been microchipped, vaccinated, registered, and spayed or neuter, according to a press release.

The shelter is located at 440 North Falkenburg Road and is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
