Alligator found under car in Temple Terrace
TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - An alligator was spotted lurking around a neighborhood in Temple Terrace.
Ashleigh Larue says she found the gator underneath her car at her home near King High School.
Someone was able to catch the little guy, while the neighborhood came out to see what was going on, and he even let one of the neighborhood kids pet it.
No one was hurt.
It's alligator mating season and residents across the Tampa Bay area are starting to see alligators move from nearby bodies of water, like lakes and retention ponds, to their doorsteps, as male gators search for female mates.
