'Armed and dangerous' suspect stole AR-15, revolver from home, deputies say
NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) - Pasco County deputies say they found the thief who stole firearms from a home, including an AR-15 and a revolver, they say.
Sometime on May 27, deputies say 49-year-old Julio Gonzalez fled from 4230 Biloxi Drive in New Port Richey after stealing the weapons. The guns were described as a “Stag Arms AR-15 rifle with tan grips and stock, with possible three loaded 30-round magazines, as well as a Taurus .357 snub nose revolver.”
According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Gonzalez has made threats to hurt himself and has also sent threatening text messages. It’s unclear who they were sent to. Deputies say probable cause for his arrest including domestic battery, false imprisonment, and grand theft.
