Bicyclist killed in Spring Hill
SPRING HILL, Fla. - A bicyclist was killed when they were hit by a vehicle on County Line Road in Hernando County.
The Florida Highway Patrol closed southbound US 41/Broad Street north of County Line Road while they investigated the crash.
FHP says the F250 truck was headed south in the turn lane of Broad Street, approaching County Line Road, when the bicyclist approached.
The driver said they could not see the bicyclist before the collision.
FHP was working to contact the bicyclists' relatives in Honduras.
Hernando County Sheriff's Office deputies were also there, helping direct traffic.
