These firefighters really are the cat's meow!

Clearwater Fire Rescue responded to a home on Nicholson Street to rescue three kittens and their mother after the felines got stuck between the walls of the home's attic on Saturday.

Crew members from two stations cut a small hole into the ceiling to retrieve the tiny kittens, who appear to be newborns.

"We are here for all of Clearwater — even the four-legged types," firefighters wrote on Twitter.
