Colorado man assaulted while holding 4-year-old girl
PINE JUNCTION, Colo. (FOX 13) - Authorities in Colorado say they are searching for two men suspected of assaulting a man, who was holding his 4-year-old daughter. The child was, fortunately, not injured, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Around 10 p.m. on January 25, the victim, 39-year-old Richard Warry Brown, was at the Crossroads Pizza & Wings Bar, located at 16 Mt. Evans Boulevard in Pine Junction.
Surveillance video from the restaurant captured Brown enter one part of the establishment while holding his daughter in his arms. Numerous punches were thrown prior to someone in the bar taking the child from Brown, but the fight continued after.
The child was not injured, according to Jefferson County deputies. Brown had serious body injuries from the assault and had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital.
Brown was issued a summons for misdemeanor child abuse.
