Credit card skimmer found at Sarasota gas station
SARASOTA (FOX 13) - Authorities said a credit card skimmer was found at a gas station in Sarasota.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said the skimmer was discovered Monday at a BP gas station located at 1660 N. Lockwood Ridge Road.
The device was removed and taken as evidence, deputies said.
Investigators said customers who believe they have purchased gas at the location should check their credit card statements.
