Fire destroys building in Weeki Wachee: HCFR

WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. - Hernando County Fire Rescue battled a fire that tore through a pole barn Sunday night in the 8000 block of Indian Trail Road in Weeki Wachee.

Officials say the structure was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived around 9:30 p.m.

Firefighters were able to control the fire within 30 minutes, according to fire rescue, with no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
