Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies warn a robber is on the loose after at least two instances where he snuck up behind customers using drive-thru ATMs and stole cash and debit cards.

Investigators believe the man has struck at least twice, beginning July 14 at the Wells Fargo Bank on S. Kings Avenue. In that case, surveillance pictures show the masked man hiding behind what appears to be a taxi. He then confronts the driver while at the ATM, implies he has a weapon and robs the driver of cash and a debit card.

Officials believe the same man also targeted a woman at the nearby PNC Bank on W. Brandon Boulevard on July 17.

"I come here a lot. I probably will not come back and definitely will not come at night," said Donnalee Hendricks.

Deputies say the robber may be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-873-TIPS. There is a $3000 reward for information that could lead to an arrest
