An organization has been changing the lives of people with disabilities for more than 60 years.

Their name is their mission: Providing Advocates, Recognizing Capabilities, or PARC.

PARC's Director of Marketing, Shannon Fernandez said the programs touch the lives of thousands of adults and children.

"We have 40 programs," said Fernandez. "Typically about 800 people, children and adults, come through PARC within a daily basis."

The organization's children's center focuses on discovery learning.

They also supply transportation services and residential services for their participants.

"We really focus on process arts and what enhances the children most while they are doing the art," said music and art teacher Melissa Cercone.

PARC has help thousands of children and adults integrate into society. For more information, visit www.parc-fl.org.
