Downtown Tampa road reopens after water main break

TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Crews made fast work of repairing a downtown Tampa intersection after a water main broke Thursday morning.

The water main break happened Thursday morning in the intersection of East Brorein Street and South Ashley Drive, which shut down between South Tampa and South Parker streets.

However, emergency repair crews with the Tampa Water Department were able to fix the water main and the roadway, reopening the intersection late Thursday.

Thankfully for downtown residents and businesses, water service was not impacted.
