Free skin cancer screenings available in Bay Area on Melanoma Monday

TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Living in the Sunshine State can come with a big side effect: the dangers of skin cancer, but officials are offering a free checkup.
Melanoma Monday is always held on the first Monday in May, which is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Hopsitals and medical centers across the country are offering free skin cancer screenings today to mark the occasion.
There are dozens of locations within the Tampa Bay area. The American Academy of Dermatology has a search tool on its website to find those locations.
