Gator shows up at Port Richey hair salon

PORT RICHEY, Fla. - Only in Florida would an alligator show up to a hair salon without an appointment. 

The alligator showed up at Hair Obsessions salon in Port Richey on Thursday.

The gator got a little shy when police showed up and ended up hiding under someone's car. 

Eventually, the officers were able to coax it out and take it to its nearby home. 

Nobody, including the gator, was injured, police say.
