Gibsonton boy run over in stroller has passed away

A little boy who was sitting in a stroller when a truck backed over it in Gibsonton Sunday has passed away.

The family of two-year-old Zachary Ustaszewski says the toddler died at Tampa General Hospital after suffering severe head trauma.

Hillsborough County deputies say Brandon Concepcion and the little boy's grandfather, Randy Lear, were leaving the home on Flume Terrace in Sandy's Mobile Home Park when Concepcion backed over the stroller.

Unaware he had backed over the stroller, deputies said he began to pull forward when a neighbor who saw the crash ran to the truck and began banging on the window to stop it.

Deputies are investigating the incident and haven't said whether any charges would be filed.

Zachary's family says the little boy is donating his organs after this tragedy so other lives can be saved.
