High winds from monsoon snaps tree in half, damages apartment
PHOENIX, Ariz. (STORYFUL) - A monsoon storm swept through Arizona on Monday, downing power lines and snapping a tree in half.
About 100,000 customers were left without power due to the storm, AZCentral.com reported.
In a tweet, the National Weather Service in Phoenix warned there was a dust storm warning in effect Monday evening.
Video posted on Instagram showed high winds knocking a tree onto a Litchfield Park apartment complex. It then shows the interior of the home after the accident. The person who captured the video said there were no injuries.
