Husband: A 'coward' murdered my wife

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Grady Fussell's wife is never coming home.

"I'm in shock right now, waiting for her to walk through that door. I'm just trying to hang in there, be strong," said Fussell.

Grady says his wife, Alica Fussell, was gunned last night in front of a liquor store on Nebraska Avenue in Tampa.

"She was with her brother last night sitting up there. They were listening to music and the guy just slipped up on them, from what her brother tells me, and just started shooting," continued Fussell.

Grady says he knows who did it.

"Antwoine Noland," he quickly blurted out, when asked who killed his wife.

Noland, he says, was angry at Alica for interfering in his relationship with his girlfriend.

Court records show Noland targeted Alica six months ago.

"He ran to his car, grabbed his gun, and drove out the parking lot, shooting. He happen to catch her in the foot, so she was in the hospital for a while," explained Fussell.

Alica was set to testify against him earlier this month, but Noland never showed up for a court hearing.

"Yesterday the state attorney called and had told my wife he had jumped bail," Fussell recalled, adding that it "probably" frightened Alica.

A warrant was issued for his arrest on Monday.  Fussell is convinced Noland wanted to silence his wife forever.

"He's a coward.  Because why would you want to do that to a woman, " Fussell added.

Tampa police are searching for Noland to talk to him about the homicide. He's currently wanted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed firearm and felon in possession of a firearm, unrelated to the homicide.
