Pedestrians in Miami Lakes were treated to an impromptu cow parade Friday when a herd trotted through the streets.

Bystanders recorded videos of at least two dozen Holstein Friesian cattle, the breed known for its black and white markings, (and for being Chick-fil-A's mascot).

Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid warned residents Friday morning, via Twitter, to avoid Commerce Way until the cows were wrangled.

Later Friday, WSVN News7's helicopter spotted the cows back in their pasture, clearly exhausted from their journey.
