Infant dies after car, truck crash in Riverview

RIVERVIEW (FOX 13) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a one-year-old boy has died after a crash in Riverview Saturday night.
Troopers say it happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of West Bloomingdale Avenue and U.S. Highway 301 North. The driver of an Infiniti reportedly failed to stop at a red turn arrow, and drove directly into the path of an oncoming Ford Ranger pickup. The crash critically injured both the driver of the pickup, 34-year-old Nicole Tanner, as well as her 14-year-old passenger Isabelle Tanner. One-year-old Drew Lawton died in the crash.
The driver and both passengers in the Infiniti suffered minor injuries and were taken to Tampa General Hospital. FHP says charges are pending in this incident.
