Kennedy Blvd. reopens after suspicious package investigation
TAMPA, Fla. - A stretch of Kennedy Boulevard was closed in west Tampa due to a suspicious package investigation outside the WTVT studios this afternoon.
Traffic was rerouted between Lincoln Avenue to Matanzas Avenue and several officers were on scene.
Police say the package turned out to be harmless.
The road has since reopened.
