Man critically injured following Tampa shooting

TAMPA (FOX 13) - A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head Sunday night.

Tampa police responded to the 2700 block of East 18th Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. Police said they found an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a nearby hospital.

Officers said two vehicles in the area were also struck by gunfire. The circumstances surrounding the shooting is still under investigation. There is no suspect information as of Monday morning.
