Meat thieves stole $300 worth of premium ground chuck roasts, detectives say

Detectives are searching for a man who was seen stealing $300 worth of meat from a Winn-Dixie in Seminole, Florida, as well as his getaway driver, who was waiting outside the store.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance video showing the unidentified man entering the store, located at 8740 Park Boulevard. Detectives said the suspect heads straight to the meat department and removed 15 premium ground chuck roasts from the cooler.

He is seen walking towards the front of the store and exiting without paying. He leaves in a red SUV-style vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a dark ball cap, a black shirt, dark-colored cargo pants and black socks with sandals. The driver of the vehicle was described as a white male with some facial hair.

The suspect vehicle may also be involved in a separate theft at the Luekens Liquor store in Seminole, where a suspect stole two bottles of liquor. Detectives said it appears the same Winn-Dixie suspects are involved in the liquor theft.
