In keeping with its Christmas tradition, Metropolitan Ministries hosted celebrations for the homeless families living on its campuses.

100 homeless families with 200 children received gifts that had been wrapped by volunteers.

Some families were also treated to free family portraits.

The kitchen staff prepared more than 1,800 hot meals that were served to homeless individuals and families at several locations.  They made 450 pounds of ham, 500 pounds of vegetables, and 200 Pies and cakes.

Earlier this week another 23,000 families received meals and toys through Metropolitan Ministries’ Holiday Tent program.
