More charges filed against Brandon cheerleading coach
BRANDON (FOX 13) - The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has filed additional charges against a Brandon cheerleading coach who is accused of inappropriate sexual contact with a teenager.
Deputies said Victor Valenty, 28, was a coach at Storm All Stars Cheer and Dance. He was initially arrested Thursday in connection with a 16-year-old he met through coaching.
Valenty is accused of picking up the teen and taking her back to his home in Pinellas County.
According to investigators, a second teenage victim has come forward, prompting more charges to be filed. Deputies said the suspect also met the second victim through his role as a cheerleading coach.
Valenty now faces an additional three felonies.
