Porch pirate stole from Seminole Heights home, police say

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Tampa police are searching for a porch pirate suspect who stole from a Seminole Heights resident.

The agency shared home surveillance video showing a man approach the front porch, located in the 5000 block of North Suwanee Avenue around 12:37 p.m. on August 23. On the Tampa Police Department’s Facebook page, the agency wrote, “This brazen thief was caught on a Ring doorbell camera casually walking up to a South Seminole Heights home and stealing a package off of the front porch.”

Tampa police detectives are asking anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to come forward and call Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-8477.
