Puppies rescued from oil tank find new home
BAKERSFIELD, CA (FOX 13 News) - It’s a story that’s slipping and sliding right into our hearts!
A pair of puppies in Kern County California is safe after being rescued from a sticky situation last week.
An officer from Kern County Animal Services reportedly responded to a call and found two puppies covered in oil after a Good Samaritan had pulled them from an oil well.
The officer then took them to a vet, where the staff gave them much needed baths and a little TLC.
After they were healthy and strong, the puppies were taken to an animal shelter, but they weren't there long.
The Good Samaritan that rescued them decided to make the two puppies a permanent part of their family.
