Reward increased for suspect wanted for 16-year-old's murder
BUSHNELL, Fla. - The reward has increased for a suspect wanted in the murder of a 16-year-old girl in Bushnell.
The Sumter's County Sheriff's Office says 16-year-old Aliyah Jackson was found dead in a home on November 5 after the suspect, 35-year-old Larry Darnell Peavy, invited her and one of her friends to a party in Bushnell, sexually assaulted them and tied up the teen.
The other girl was able to get away.
Peavy was last seen driving a 1997 Nissan Sentra grey in color, bearing the tag number 2295UJ.
A reward of $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of Peavy, who is wanted on kidnapping, sexual assault, and first-degree murder charges.
