Road closures at busy Tampa intersection to last days after water main break
TAMPA, Fla. - Most lanes at the intersection of W. Martin Luther King Blvd. and N. Armenia Ave. will remain closed for "an extended period of time" while crews work to fix a broken water main, according to the Tampa Police Department.
The closure began Thursday, with police diverting traffic in all directions.

What we know:
TPD says one eastbound lane of MLK is back open as of Friday, but detours remain in place in all other directions on both MLK and Armenia.
The Tampa Water Department said Thursday that all lanes should be back open by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, although that could change depending on weather conditions.
