Search for escaped suspect in Sarasota

SARASOTA (FOX 13) - Police in Sarasota are going street by street as they search for an escaped robbery suspect.
Demetrius Downer was being arrested for armed robbery when police say he broke free and was able to escape with one handcuff on.
He was last seen in the area of 12th and Florida Avenue.
Police say to call 911 if you spot him.
