A secret Santa just made the holidays a little brighter for some families in Pittsburgh.

The principal at HW Good Elementary School, Dr. Amy Larcinese said the secret Santa came to the school and paid off all of the overdue school lunch balances.

"[He] showed up here yesterday with a check paid off all the account balances and even paid for a child's lunch for the rest of the month," Dr. Larcinese said.

The person, who wanted to remain anonymous, told the school they just wanted to give back to those who needed it most.

"For some our kids, the only meal they get are the two they get in school," Dr. Larcinese said. "I know that it's not that they don't want to pay their account balances. They just can’t afford to do it right now."

The parents of the kids whose accounts were wiped clean will get a note to tell them about the secret Santa’s good deed.

"It's an amazing feeling someone would want to help as many students as they have," Dr. Larcinese added.
