The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa plans to hire as many as 1,200 new employees as part of its major expansion.

The hotel and casino will hold a two-day job fair on June 4 and 5, with on-the-spot interviews and job offers. Up to 1,200 full-time and part-time positions will be up for grabs, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Available positions include restaurant workers, hotel staff, casino cashiers, spa technicians, guest services and security officers.

The $700 million expansion encompasses a new 15-story hotel tower that will bring an additional 564 hotel rooms and suites to the property, along with three new pools, new restaurants and more parking.

The hiring event will take place in an air conditioned tent in the north parking lot adjacent to Hillsborough Avenue. It starts at 9 a.m. each day, and interested applicants can speed up the hiring process by applying online in advance of the event.
