Suspicious death investigation underway, two bodies found in car

ZEPHYRHILLS (FOX 13) - A suspicious death investigation is underway after two bodies were found near a Pasco County intersection.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says they were called around 6:30 a.m. after someone spotted two bodies in a car near Handcart Road and  Wright Lane. 

So far, they have only said the deceased are a man and a woman. Their names, ages and relationship to one another has not yet been released.

Deputies say the cause of death is still under investigation, but they do not believe there is a threat to others in the area.
