Teen hit by car in Ruskin

RUSKIN (FOX 13) - A teenager was hit by a car on a Ruskin road Wednesday morning.

Hillsborough County deputies said the crash occurred at 21st Avenue and 6th Street SE. The teen male student is from South County Career Center.

Deputies said he was transported by a medical chopper to Tampa General Hospital, but didn’t know his condition. They said the driver stayed on scene.

The events leading up to the crash are under investigation.
