Uniformed Tampa firefighter among those arrested in prostitution sting

A Tampa Fire Rescue firefighter was one of four men arrested during an undercover prostitution solicitation sting Wednesday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said. 

Deputies said 17 men approached the undercover deputy posing as a sex worker. Four of those men allegedly tried to exchange money for sexual acts.

The sting happened in the University Community area of Tampa. One of the four men arrested, 46-year-old Brian Hartzler, was allegedly wearing his Tampa Fire Rescue duty uniform while trying to solicit sex. 

Also arrested were Curtis A. Hargrove, 30; Lucio Martinez, 44; and Jawuan S. Hicks, 25. Each of the men arrested will face a charge of soliciting another to commit prostitution.
