Up to 100 guests evacuated from St. Pete boutique hotel during smoke scare
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Guests at the Indigo Hotel in downtown St. Petersburg were awakened after smoke started spreading through the building.
According to St. Pete Fire Rescue, about 75 to 100 people were evacuated from the hotel.
The electrical junction box was the cause, and there were no flames.
Firefighters allowed the hotel to air out before guests can return to their rooms.
