Waiter's "Tip" Was Actually a Religious Text

A waiter in Kansas named Garret was excited late last month when a customer left a $20 bill, rolled up under a ketchup bottle.

But when he got a closer look, the “$20 bill” was actually an admonition to read the Bible:

When Garret unfolded the bill, he found a note that said, in all caps, “DON’T BE FOOLED- THERE IS SOMETHING YOU CAN HAVE MORE VALUABLE THAN MONEY!"

On the other side was a seven-paragraph religious text- the first of which begins, aptly, “Things and people will disappoint you.”

Garret’s tweet has been retweeted nearly 6,000 times.
