Gov. Ron DeSantis weighs in on Rays situation
When asked on Friday about the future of the Tampa Bay Rays, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signaled support for the franchise, saying he's hopeful the team will remain in the Bay Area for the foreseeable future. His comments came one day after the Rays announced that the team "cannot move forward" with a deal that was in place to build a new ballpark in St. Petersburg.
