Lithia students head to 'Odyssey of the Mind' competition

LITHIA (FOX 13) - Charley was in Lithia Thursday morning visiting Randall Middle School’s to learn about their Odyssey of the Mind team.

They are getting ready for a trip to Iowa to compete in the World Finals Competition. They will go up against 68 other schools from across the U.S. and around the world, including teams from China, Poland, Russia, and Singapore. 

This team won first place in the state competition. Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem-solving, STEM-based competition that helps students develop skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, math, engineering, science, writing and the performing arts.
