Armed suspects rob MetroPCS in Seffner, deputies say

Hillsborough County detectives are hoping the public can identify three suspects who robbed a MetroPCS and holding an employee at gunpoint.

Officials said the robbery occurred on November 15 before 9 p.m. The three unknown men entered the MetroPCS, located at 11200 East Dr. King Boulevard in Seffner. They said all three were wearing masks, gloves, and armed with what appears to be an AR pistol style firearm. 

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance video showing the three unidentified men entering the store, rummaging through boxes, and grabbing several boxes. The employee was shoved to the ground as the suspects grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. A

t one point, the employee was laying on the floor as suspects searched the victim’s pockets. One of the suspects also pointed a possible weapon at the employee.

The suspects were described as:
1. Black male, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and camouflage pants.
2. Black male, last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt, gray pants and orange/white sneakers.
3. Black male, last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and black pants.
