Arrest in deadly Tampa hit-and-run crash

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Police say the driver who killed a pedestrian along Nebraska Avenue on Sunday has turned himself into police.

Roger Herelle, 33, allegedly confessed to detectives today, three days after the deadly crash.  He’s being held in the Hillsborough County Jail.

According to police, Sally Ann McClellan Webb was hit around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of Nebraska and Linebaugh avenues.  The vehicle did not stop; Webb passed away at the scene.

No other information was immediately released.
