Boil water notice lifted following Coachman Park water main break
CLEARWATER, Fla. - The boil water advisory in place for Clearwater Beach, Island Estates and Sand Key residents was lifted Friday.
Clearwater Public Utilities officials said the water is safe to use following rounds of testing. The boil water notice was first issued as a precaution after a water main break in Coachman Park on Wednesday.
At the time, officials said it was a result of a construction crew hitting a water main.
City officials say it was safe to shower, but not to drink the water. Residents were experiencing low to no water pressure when it first occurred.
