Busch Gardens, SeaWorld: First responders free
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Florida's first responders are being honored at Busch Gardens and SeaWorld with free admission for the entire month of September.
Those who qualify will receive free admission for Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando and they can also get up to four additional tickets at a discounted price of $50 a ticket for friends and family.
“This special offer is our way to show our support and appreciation for the commitment and dedication of Florida’s first responders,” said Jim Dean, Busch Gardens Tampa park president.
The following Florida first responders are eligible, according to Busch Gardens:
- All Florida fire rescue first responders
- Florida emergency medical services employees (EMT/EMS/not hospital employees)
- All Florida police and sheriff offices
- Florida Highway Patrol
- Florida Department of Corrections
- Florida Department of Law Enforcement
- Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission field officers
- Florida Forest Service Forest Rangers
- Florida Park Service law enforcement
- Department of Homeland Security law enforcement agents
- Florida Department of Environmental Protection law enforcement
First responders can visit buschgardenstampa.com or seaworldorlando.com to register through the ID.me verification system. The tickets must be used by September 30.
Active members of the U.S. armed forces can also get free admission to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks through their ongoing tribute program "Waves of Honor," which was created in 2001. Military members get in free along with up to three dependents per service member.
