Crash closes I-75 SB lanes south of Sarasota

SARASOTA (FOX 13) - A fatal crash has closed two lanes of southbound Interstate 75 south of Sarasota.
Deputies say the scene of the crash is near mile marker 201, which is a few miles south of the Clark Road exit.
Photos from the scene show a car that apparently slammed into the back of a semi truck, though it’s not clear what led up to the crash.
Deputies say traffic could be impacted “for some time.”
