Drowned dog found tied to cinder block
ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) - Pinellas County deputies are investigating a case of animal cruelty.
Detectives say a fisherman found the body of a pit bull floating near the Weedon Island Preserve with a short rope around her neck attached to a cinder block.
The remains were taken to the SPCA of Tampa Bay.
The dog is described as brown in color with a white underside.
