High school student has emotional reunion with Air Force father

LEVITTOWN, N.Y. (Storyful) - A student at a high school in Levittown, New York, was given quite the surprise on February 5 when he was reunited with his father, a member of the United States Air Force.

The school shared footage of the reunion on Instagram. Amani Rodriguez, a freshman at Division Avenue High School, walked in to the principal’s office and was shocked to find his father, Kelvin, ready to greet him.

Rodriguez had returned home from a 7-month deployment.
