Hillsborough County deputies investigate homicide in Ruskin

RUSKIN, Fla. - The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning.

Deputies and emergency crews responded to reports of a shooting on the 2100 block of 21st Avenue SE in Ruskin around 1:30 a.m. 

Once on scene, deputies found a victim with upper body trauma. The victim was pronounced deceased.

No suspect information has been released. The case remains under investigation by HCSO.
