One killed, another wounded in shooting at Lakeland car repair business

LAKELAND, Fla. (FOX 13) - Police are looking for a gunman after a man was killed and another person was wounded at a car repair shop in Lakeland Friday night.
Lakeland police said the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. at Artillery Motor Sports, located at 3609 Century Blvd.
The victim, identified at 32-year-old Steven Schelmety, was found dead inside the shop.
Another person was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Their name has not been released; police said the person is exempt as a witness to s murder.
Investigators released photos of a vehicle of interest, which appears to be a light-colored, 4-door pickup truck.

Meanwhile, Schelmety's service will be Friday, February 22 at 6 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Lakeland.
