Pedestrian injured in crash along Hillsborough Avenue

TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred at Hillsborough Avenue East and 47th Street North. Westbound lanes were closed for about an hour, but they have since reopened to traffic.

Police didn't say the extent of the pedestrian's injuries.

The events leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
